burdell had a friend once that said her family didn't know supper was ready until the smoke alarm went off. Seriously she couldn't cook without it going off and her DH was a firefighter. When he retired he took over the cooking.

Coastal I have never heard your version either but my kids sure got a giggle thanks for that!

MWBW I have to use timers for things then sometimes I forget what I set it for. When my kids tease me they tell me they are going to take away my lists and timers. They say I would sit in the chair confused, like a cat with cut off whiskers, for days trying to figure out what to do. But I can still work circles around their little tails.......................... in my mind more lately.

Oh how my kids are going to miss me when I am gone.

I don't know anything right now except the pizza hit the spot....That second batch of fudge most likely will extend dinner later on tonight...

Afternoon all, no idea what is for dinner tonight. We were at church most of today, (my oldest is being confirmed next week). They served pizza for lunch and I am still pretty full. I think it will be a leftover bonanza. I think there is pot pie, meatloaf and soup to choose from. Hope everyone has a great day.

Well, soup was yummy.... I chucked the parm chicken sausage I had in there... and kept it pretty basic.... but everyone ate it w/o a problem. That made it a success.

The kids had a great day and saw Disney on Ice.... so they are pretty tired from all the excitment and I am hoping they hit the hay early.

I feel like I have tons to catch up on over the past two days....sometimes it is just better to hit the road runnin....Hope you all have had a good weekend- restful at least.
