I just extended my taco dinner with a small bowl of butter pecan and chocolate syrup...Getting better rounded everyday...
Butter Pecan is one of those best and overlooked flavors of ice cream. Although I like it by itself and have never considered having it with chocolate. We used to have a local business, High's Dairy Stores in the Washington DC suburbs. They were pre 7-Eleven and had an ice cream counter where fresh scooped ice cream was added to cup, package or cones. They had a signature flavor, Butter Brickle, with butterscotch flavor ice cream with toffee bits. The ambrosia-like Butter Brickle ice cream is no longer available. And all of the High's stores were turned into 7-Elevens

Thanks for the memory
Most welcome. I remember the first 7-11 here in my small town...It was true to 7-11. 16 hours a day then not 24 like now...Milk was a special there back then for 99¢ a gallon...Early 60's...
Husband cooked breakfast for dinner. It always tastes better when someone else cooks!
Charley, WB!
Ice cream?! Yum-o! Blue Bell at our house is TOPS! During the winter I wrap up in a blanket so I can eat it!
kshe - thinking of you. I was the BFF that moved away once upon a time and it was, and still is, heartbreaking. When you meet that one soulmate best girlfriend it is so special. I moved away years ago and it is still painful. I'm sorry.
Isn't that the truth???? The lasagna I made was just "ok" to me, but the rest of them raved over it. Hmmmm......reminder to myself to let others cook more! LOL
chicken thighs with guacamole sauce with TJ tortillas and garlic n onions with jalapenas -- micro waved green apples with splenda margarine and cinammon.

I think Butter Pecan is the southern version of Maple Walnut! I love some of the New England favorites like Maple Walnut, Grape Nuts, Rum Raisin, Coffee, Black Raspberry and Raspberry Ripple.
I cant recall ever eating any kind of ice cream I really didnt care for
