I made burritos!!! My hamburger was seasoned with Cinnamon, Chili powder, red pepper flakes and pepper. Then I added cheese, black beans and rolled them, then placed them in hot cooking oil! WONDERFUL!!! Where would I be without Mexican food

Tonight we're going to order pizza.

DH and I, we have our 4th anniversary but it's soccer world champion ship and Germany's playing today so no chance to go out for dinner.

At least I can order my favourite pizza - yummie

Yours is more gormet....but since it is after 8 pm we are both hungry and mine will go just right.
I love chicken legs and breasts in all varieties but DH thinks they are too small and have not enough meat so I always have to prepare turkey legs which are way bigger and also taste very delicious. It's very common over here to have turkey legs instead of chicken...

Tonight I decided since it has cooled off a bit I'll give my hubbie a break. So I'm baking chicken thighs with mashed potatoes and fresh broccoli. Yes, I broke down and spent nearly a dollar a spear for the broccoli because I love the stuff and had to have it!! Stopped at a little veggie stand yesterday and picked up some great looking yellow neck squash and cucumbers. The little old lady there said next week she should have fresh tomatoes and green beans as well. Poor woman---the lack of rain here has hurt many of their veggies. Regardless, until our own garden starts producing we will frequent this little stand!!

Afternoon all, boy my grocery bill this summer is going to be huge having all my boys home everyday. They are eating everything that is not nailed down. Lunch today will be meatloaf with veggie on side. Dinner tonight will be something with pork. Not sure what yet. Maybe pork steaks and scalloped potatoes? Not sure, maybe baked pork chops.

We're having pork chops that have been marinating in worcestshire (for the love of all that is holy, how DO you spell that word??) and soy sauce.

I'll probably broil them and serve with with cucumber salad and rice.
