This week's dinner selections will feature things Southern, Southwestern, and exotic. I've got some tilapia in the freezer and I'll get that going along with some smokehouse beans and hush puppies. In addition, I'm planning later in the week to do some chicken tacos, but I've still got to get the corn tortillas. And I've had a craving for Frito pie, so I'm going to incorporate the usual ingredients like chili, cheddar, and Fritos corn chips. My other items will likely to be takeout and, also, a friend of mine and I will be going to Cracker Barrel this afternoon. They've got an excellent bowl of pinto beans and have some wonderful cornbread on the side, and that is a likely thing for me when we get there --- it's been on my mind.

Have a great week at your dinner table, and bon appetit!

Hi there, its good to be here my mouth is watering reading your menus

I actually thought haggis was going to taste awful but i was suprised i loved the spices and the oaty taste.

This is where we shop for our Asian food its amazing, the food is actually cheaper than the supermarket. I'm going to pick up fresh red snapper and some monkfish, they have a massive tank in there

Thank you very much, i look forward to seeing some culinary delights here. I love to cook Italian cuisine, I was brought up on it having Italians in my family. I am passionate about my food, i usually cook with my mum, we all love cooking

I'm hoping to get into Spanish tapas too, the food here La Tasca - Spanish Tapas Bar & Restaurant | guide for food | Food, Tiger, Grilled, Langostinos, (http://www.latasca.co.uk/guide-to-food.html - broken link) is to die for. They have a restaurant in Glasgow.

Welcome, scotslass.

Leftovers tonight. DH is leaving on a trip, so I'm eating my leftover ribs and his pasta from last night. Entering a frozen dinner, cereal, and sandwich zone for a couple of weeks.

Hope you enjoy your din dins. I'm extremely hungover from that dinner party at my aunts so im taking it easy tonight - too much of the vino tinto/blanco

I'd love to make grilled tiger prawns (still in shells) with sea salt and lemon. I can't seem to find a recipe for it.

Hello all...... we are trying to wake up still at our house and get moving at the same time. Not too easy. I am only one quick this morning. I must try and push these children out the door all dressed and looking sparkly clean and smiling for church soon..... and we have a big day ahead....

TONIGHT..... I am planning soup..... I have the crockpot pulled out and a ton of veg I need to use up. So......Veggie Soup.... nice and hot. Still trying to warm our bones. Hubby will be home working today so he can be the watcher of the pot.

See you all back here later.......
