I am making a huge pot of turkey chili with melted Mexican cheese and tortilla chips for dipping. But ya know what I miss? The sound of my hubby firing up the grill and the smells of his famous barbecue chicken!

Tonight we have chicken Tikka with basmati rice, cucumber raita and chapatis. To drink lassi or water. For dessert 1 meringue each with hot thick home made peach syrup.
For me this is a fast, lazy but elegant and delicious meal

we are having pork cutlets, fresh green beans from the garden and a cauliflower salad. I have about 1/2 head that is quickly turning brown and is begging to be eaten before it has to be thrown away.

We're going to the Boiling Crab tonight so I don't have to make anything for a change! I'm ready for shrimp, crab and crawfish all marinated in their delicious sauce. There is a small open air cocktail bar across the street that allows the spill-over customers from the Boiling Crab to eat there, so we will also enjoy cocktails along with our seafood.
