Feeling kind of yucky ... so had some chicken soup. Felt even worse after I ate.

I am not completely sure, but whatever, we are having shallots! I am thinking about Okra sautéed, with tomatoes and shallots, cod and maybe fruit salad?

Last night, a baked potato. Tonight? Thinking of eggplant, since DH picked on yesterday.

Last night I had yummy meatloaf (Melissa D'Arabians recipe) with sour cream Dijon Mustard gravy and summer squash casserole with sliced tomatoes and carrots.
Husband claims to hate anything with mustard in it so i didn't let him see me put the 1 Tablespoon of dijon in the gravy. At the table he said "Great gravy, just a little kick. What did you use for that?" It delighted me and the kids no end to loudly announce "DIJON MUSTARD". hmmmmmrph....he said.

Tonight I'll crumble up some left over meatloaf to use as meat in a simple lasagna and serve it with mixed salad and berries for dessert.

Tonight may be the night for fried potato sandwiches. We have improved on the ones served in the 30's. We add a slice of tomato, onion, and I put jalapenos on mine.
