Think we are doing Asian. I have bok choy, and snow peas for starters. Maybe I will take out some shrimp and make shrimp fried rice and a couple of egg rolls.
My family doesn't like "fishy" tasting fish but they will eat tilapia steamed or baked. I, however, am in the mood for something fried so: Batter-fried tilapia nuggets, coleslaw, mac n' cheese, corn muffins and a rainbow sherbet dessert from one of my Taste of Home cookbooks - macaroons, pecans and layers of fruity sherbet). Somebody had better hand me a tequila sunrise as soon as I get in the door (I don't care if its the dog, daughter or husband, I need a cocktail!)
Thanks for the well wishes from all, you folks are the best. Yup serious hit on the noggin..
Not cooking and others r taking care of themselves. Just did something i haven't done in over 20 years and
ordered Domino's..the 2 for 5.99 deal online. The website was amazingly efficient and I have to say the crust of their pizza is much better than the last time i had 20 years ago. I got delivery service which was prompt, the pizza was a Hawaiian..side of chicken bites. I give em a thumbs up..
Ribeye steak sandwiches and possibly fries. Not very healthy but my son and I have to work the steak sandwich concession booth at the county fair / rodeo tonight. Boy Scout fundraiser
Dinner on my own tonight so I am having scallops with a lemon cream sauce, garlicky spinach sautéed in olive oil, and cole slaw. Dessert is cheesecake. Unsweetened iced tea to drink.
