Father-in-law is our guest for dinner tonight: grilled rib eye steaks with gorgonzola butter and sweet onion rings, bacon-cheese potatoes, Caesar salad (with homemade dressing and croutons) and raspberry tarts with whipped cream for dessert.

Making a minestrone soup with kale... crusty bread on the side.
