I can get it from Amazon but I hate paying their price for it.

I just realized I almost forgot that fig jam goes on the sandwich too. I better go check my fridge!
Ooh, you're close! Ours is about 15 miles from here, and totally worth the trip. I don't remember if they had Duke's when we were there last week, but we're nearly out, so I need to check, too! I think it was $3.49 for the quart-size jar. Or close to quart; too lazy to go look.

Aldi has many varieties of economical evil deliciousness; your mentioning fig jam reminded me that we got Aldi brand fig newtons for $.89. Just as delicious, too.

Oh, on topic. We had BBQ pork for dinner, made stove top, not grill, though.

Going to a friend's backyard bbq- so I will eat Grilled chicken wings, side salad, potato salad, and I am bringing the squash casserole! And of course sweet iced tea! I can't believe it's the 4th of July already, the unofficial midway point of the summer!

this sounds great!! I love pork tenderloins! I see you said,,,you will bake it up the marinade sounds good

I cooked two pork tenderloins on the grill in the last week,,,

the first one was quite thick so the outside got a little charred before the middle was done,,

the second time cooking it,,,i had two choices,,,,either butterfly the tenderloin (slice down the lenth-wise to thin it out) or cook it on lower medium heat to avoid the charring...

I opted to cook it on lower heat (medium) to avoid flare ups and charring,,also used a thermometer
cooked to 145f (this is what usda recommends)
and this was delicious!

Oh man that looks good! My steak method sets off the smoke alarm. The next place I live needs to have an exhaust fan over the store.
