My family never bought any "Sugar" cereals. Rolled oats for us Scottish Canadians!

For many years I ate Rice Krispies, often with half a banana on top. Every day.

Got up one morning and just could not face another bowl. I think I was about 15 years old.

Now it's plain Cheerios, often with half a banana.

The Walmart brand flakes that are a take off on the Special K with strawberries are OK. Quaker Oat Squares are good, but too pricey.

I probably would not turn down a bowl of Frosted Flakes, would eat plain corn flakes or shredded wheat, and oatmeal is a cold weather option every once in a while. I have never eaten any of the kiddie cereals you guys describe.

Won't allow that crap I loved into this house.

To this day, my 3 year old has never had a cheerios.

Let alone those delectable Lucky Charms, Froot Loops, Apple Jacks...

I bet they changed them anyway.

cap n crunch is probably one of the greatest inventions in the history of the world

i dont buy it though because i will get fat, i avoid the cereal isle all together these days

a box/boxes of delicious cereal like cnc will be destroyed in a matter of minutes in my house, so best just to eliminate it from the shopping list, but every so often we'll get it

Alas. I'm on my train ride to work right now, having packed a boiled egg, an apple, and some yogurt for breakfast.

What I'd really like is a big-ass corn muffin, toasted, with butter.

Probably less sugar if you ate a candy bar.

I have 4 cereals (5 if oatmeal is included) I buy regularly, all high in nutrition and always topped with fruit.
