It was real cool this morning that I felt like chili today but now it is warming up so I changed my mind. Thank goodness we ladies are entitled to change our mind any time

So tonight marjoram chicken breast stripes, garlic mashed potatoes, mashed peas (thickened with a roux before passing through a sieve and garnishing with roasted onions) and a tomato/onion salad. To drink Sleeman beer. For dessert vanilla ice cream with warm strawberry sauce.

I need to use the sage on my deck so we'll be having tortellini with brown butter & sage, and a spinach salad.

It will be a late night for both me and my husband, so tonight we're just having: homemade clam chowder, tuna melts on rye and lemonade cookies.

I don't know. I DO know that I'm about to embark on a perfect storm - it's icky outside, I'm hungry, and I'm going food shopping! Who KNOWS what I'll come up with for dinner tonight - it's anybody's guess!

So, based on my excursion, dinner is going to be Nutter Butter cookies, Pepsi, Ice Cream, and I have to find a way to work onions in there too. Sigh.

Seriously, no good sales at that store I went to, so I'm going to pull something out of the freezer. I have a couple of pork chops in there, so I'm thinking smothered pork chops and mashed potatoes. Maybe garlic mashed - depends on if I feel like roasting some garlic. I also have some frozen vegetables - that'll go with them quite well. It's a nasty, rainy day - I feel like cooking and making something belly-warming and filling.
