Tonight pickled herring salad and pan fried potatoes with onions,salt,black pepper and caraway. Maybe a garden salad. To drink a glass of white wine or beer. No dessert!
just took a package of ground chuck out of the freezer and have no idea what I will do with it. I do know we are having winter squash and a green salad. I may make a meatloaf, or may make a casserole with the meat. I might even just make patties, filled with cheese and mushrooms.

Depending on what looks better at the store in a little bit - baby back ribs or boneless chicken thighs off the grill, green salad, grilled potatoe wedges. Crepes with vanilla ice cream and Crown.
Son and DIL are coming for the night to drop off the grand dogs for a week. Not sure if they'll be in time for dinner, so I'll probably make his favorite BBQ Bean and Biscuit casserole.
