We had pork chops with mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, sautéed Brussels sprouts almondine, and mini chocolate cakes for dessert.

So good, I had to go to bed early.

Lasagna pasta - with turkey instead of beef. It turned out wonderful! My husband was very impressed. Had salad for side.

The ten year old went grocery shopping with me yesterday. Since his dad will be gone working in Connecticut all week I had the boy pick out what he wanted for tonight's dinner. He picked these parmesan chicken bites on a stick from the butcher's counter. Both my kids are suckers for any kind of food on a stick. So I'll bake those up and serve with cornbread and leftover spinach salad. I am thinking root beer to drink tonight.
