Tonight's dinner should be Black Forest Cake with Cherry Schnapps or a Mocha Butter Creme Torte. But instead we have fish soup https://germanfoods.org/recipe/meckl...ppe-fish-soup/ with home baked bread and for dessert 1/2 a pink grapefruit.
We both (my husband and I, not you and I ) have the sniffles - that sounds SO good!
The chicken isn't thawed sufficiently so that'll be tomorrow, unfortunately. Tonight is Chicago Style Hot Dogs and Lays regular potato chips. He said he really would prefer that it would be "Prince Spaghetti Day", but I pointed out that my sauce is frozen to brick like status in the freezer and we have no pasta. Oh well. He does really like the alternative. A lot. He usually scarfs down 3! So I just told him to "quit yer bitchin'."

Can't believe I missed this but I did! Growing up my dad worked at The Prince Spaghetti Factory and at The Prince Grotto. Prince Grotto was their restaurant and was pretty freaking great. Then they sold it and moved out of state.
