What's For Dinner? ~ 2020 Edition ~ (Illinois, beer, rotisserie, peanut)

I went to Aldi. Bought some Belgium cream cheese garlic/herbs flavor. Large box of variety fancy crackers.
Provolone cheese and some incredible Italian wafer thin sliced gourmet salami. Cherry tomatoes and a bar
of chocolate mint. A bag of dried apricots. I had stone ground mustard at home.

Enjoyed crackers with cheese, tomatoes, salami and mustard. Delicious. Pineapple juice mixed with
sparkling water and of a piece chocolate mint for dessert.

Sunday I smoked a wild mallard over a tri-tip roast. We've finished off the tri-tip, tonight is smoked duck with wild rice and garden veggies.

Tonight is our 8 year anniversary, but it will be pretty much business as usual.

Pan fried chicken breast with cream tarragon sauce, and a side of creamed spinach, with fresh sourdough.

Cleaning out fridge before big Costco trip.

Rice noodles with egg rolls. Local restaurant makes the most amazing foods.

Roast pork tenderloin, roasted with potatoes, carrots, and red onions, using a maple rosemary glaze.

Steak with sauteed mushrooms with red wine and rosemary

We had dinner by Aldis tonight, and it was really good. Fresh Norwegian salmon in lemon butter, sautéed asparagus, and a Greek olive with feta salad. Really exceptional.

Tonight at the Case abode: Homemade pizza (pork sausage, green peppers, red peppers, and onions) on thin crust.

Chinese take out, I had sweet and sour shrimp and cheese Wontons and Hubby had beef Lo-Mein and wonton soup. We have some leftovers. I ate all the cheese wontons though

I think I'm going directly to the ice cream..... After a great lunch with all the rest of the fossil fuels I consumed.
