I'm visiting my mum in NEPA for a week & stuffed myself with 2 large slices of local pizza... 1 pepperoni, 1 Buffalo chicken. Now I feel as bloated as a buffalo. Couldn't help it... haven't had pizza in years, but I've been a hunk of uselessness since 1pm & don't imagine that will change anytime this evening... boo, but yum.
Beef rouladen, mushroom/onion gravy, rotkohl and spaetzle.
Mmmm! Mmm! I'm drooling. Haven't had rouladen or spaetzle in so long! I'll have to put those ingredients on my next shopping list so I can make it for dinner. There's a great little German restaurant in the town I live in but we're still a bit wary of going out to eat due to hubby's immune system being very compromised. So I'll give it a go making it myself.
For dinner tonight here ... leftover Linguine with my Tuna and Sardine sauce. I know, I know, sardines! but it's really yummy for those of us who loves sardines. Canned tuna & sardines, sundried tomatoes, black olives, capers, lemon zest & juice, white wine, garlic, fresh basil. A quick and easy sauce.
