When I moved to Los Angeles 19 years ago I started going to TJ's and it quickly became a habit. I moved back to Nashville, TN for 2012 and there was only 1 TJ's there and it wasn't convenient for me, sadly. Now that I'm in LA again it's once more a regular. I buy pretty much everything there except the things I can't get at a regular supermarket, like Coke and aluminum foil. I don't like Whole Foods. I've bought things at the deli area that were rotten. And when I went there for free range meat, their selection was from New Zealand. This was in California - where we had quite a few in-state free range meat producers. I was so put off that I didn't buy a thing and never went back.
