Hi everyone. Just wanted to say "Thank You" all so much for sending good thoughts and prayers my way. Just got home a little bit ago from 7:30 this morning at the hospital. I try to be there early to catch the drs. and get updates. DH was in good spirits so that makes me happy and he wanted cookies for snacks later tonight. I know this is the food forum so I just wanted to check in and say thank you. It is very much appreciated.

Oh, I had a teriyaki bowl at the cafeteria.

Good morning all.

Bella glad you checked in and hope DH is getting better everyday. Know what you mean about getting there early to talk to the drs.

MWBW-what a rip!! Can't fool a great foodie. KFC probably would've been a step up.

Not sure-too early and nothing in the fridge.

Today is wife's birthday. Steak and baked potato at a local steak house. Her steak is free with the purchase of mine. Been saving red meat points for tonight.

Wow Nomad--another Aries! Well now we know without any doubt your dear wife is a good woman!! Enjoy your night out!
Bella, yes this is the food forum but also a group of friends so feel free to share any updates with us regarding your DH. Sometimes it helps just to share........That "is" what friends are for!
Sun is shining and my house is in dire need of a good spring cleaning. Oh joy! Looks like that is on my list of things to at least start today!
Dinner tonight will most likely be that spaghetti I was considering having last night. I'll make garlic toast and a nice green salad to go along with it.
Anything and everything is always up for a change............I cannot be help accountable!!

Happy birthday to Mrs. Nomad! I hope this year brings her (and you, of course) all sorts of wonderful things: a healthy son, a new knee, and lots of good food. Have a great time celebrating this evening!

Happy Bday to Mrs Nomad! Enjoy your evening together....

Tonight is Karate.... I have two chicken breasts that are defrosted in the fridge and it is just enough meat for me and the two girls since hubby will be out tonight. What to make? I have to think... Something easy and kid friendly- DIVA friendly I should say. Cauliflower, green beens really need to be finished up in the fridge before they go bad from my market trip last weekend. I have to figure out that chicken.... I have some Prov Cheese.... I wish they liked tomatoes and mushrooms (maybe I will put them in mine).... bread them up..... I don't know.... I have some time.....
