Three and a half hours until dinner. Seems like I am waiting on Christmas as a four year old again. I am sitting here wondering what my choices of sides will be. Maybe a nap will relieve the stress of waiting.

Happy Birthday to Mrs. Nomad!!!! Sounds like a nice night out.

Can't decide what I want for dinner. Nothing sounds good. Nothing. We had pizza last night. I was thinking chili, but I just don't have the energy to do it. I would have to go to the store. Maybe I should do breakfast. Hmmm, that could be the ticket.

We are going out a little later....(to tell the truth, I would be just as happy to stay home....I worked so hard out in the yard raking and gardening.
I just took a nice hot long shower....and got dressed...maybe I will be more up for it in a little bit....we thought we'd go out around 7:00.

Kimba nothing wrong with breakfast for dinner. I love eggs and find I crave them daily.

Have my onions frying in butter and did what my grandma used to-sprinkle a little sugar. That burger's calling my name tonight all.

Happy Birthday Hawaii and Mrs. Nomadicus! I hope your dinners out are fabulous!

Well, I forgot to take the chicken out of the freezer last night so I had to scrap the stirfry idea. But, it's back on tonight.

I was wondering if there was a thread with all of the recipes I keep seeing mentioned on here? They sound so good, but I always forget what page #.

If your DP suggested on eating out, go out and enjoy your date I know that you will have an excellent meal and time together too

Arsbadmojo, that looks awesome. I think I will make humus for my party at the end of the month.

Happy Birthday to Hawaii too!

I had an excellent day. I was on the tennis courts this morning and the sun was glorious!

I followed Cyn and cleaned some It was more a spring spring cleaning as there is so much pollen in the house I though that I could do a deep cleaning this week and then just a light cleaning next week when I have my annual big party. I live in a wonderful neighborhood and we have the most awesome festival. I throw a big drop in on Sunday around brunch time. Imagine lots of mimosas, food and laughter and that is what it feels like to me.

I marinated come chicken last night and it will be a steamed ginger chicken with ****ake mushrooms. I will serve it with some steamed rice too. (OMG! shi - take is not a bad word!)

Happy eating everyone!

If you see/remember a particular recipe just let us know which one and we will help you find it. Since we changed to "What's for dinner tonight part 3" some of those great recipes are in the other part but I copied and pasted most of them. Just yell it out and I'll do my best to help you locate it and if I can't find it someone else will!!

Many years ago I was at a fiery foods festival in PA and tried a dish called Hot Bananas. It was wonderful, at first a bit sweet then 15 seconds later "boom" the heat hit you. It was chunks of banana in a sauce that was reddish in color and almost the consistency of a glaze. Does anyone have a recipe for anything even remotely like this.
