I had never heard of this Glaze. My Meat Specialist at The Fresh Market recommended it to me. It is called Dr. Pete's Praline Mustard Glaze, 8 oz., manufactured for J.C. Specialty Foods, Inc., Savannah, Ga., 888-599-0047, www.dr.petes.com. It has hunks of pecans in it. As we were eating yesterday, besides the fork touching the plates the only other sound you heard was, "ahhh this is so good". I will never use anything else.
Oh, this sounds good!

Debsi, raising my hand here. In fact, I think I could feed a small country on the ham I have left. We are going to have ham pot pie, ham soup, ham sandwiches, etc. LOL

Nomadicus, sounds like you had a great weekend.

Jaxson, you all are so sweet!

I just spotted a head of cabbage in the fridge that needs using. Somehow fried cabbage casserole is sounding more interesting than beanie weenies. Depends on how late wife has to work. She is on call again so I never know how to plan these weeks.

Okay---dinner will be: Heated up ham with agratin potatoes and fresh broccoli. I will also have a fresh green salad with fresh cut up tomatoes. Now to do it! Think I'll jump in the shower first to hoepfully get a little energy. Seem to lacking that lately!

After a confab with the wife she is picking up a link of sausage to use in the cabbage. With a large dice onion and a can of whole kernel corn we will have a good easy one pan meal.

YLisa I thought on your pictures this week you looked thin enough now are you going to stop? WTG on your loss too.

MWBW being from the midwest here you would think we would have more quality farmer's markets around us but we don't. Folks around here are stuck in the past ways of still having small road side stands at their own farms. A lot of our 'you pick' farms have gone by the wayside sadly when the big farmers took over more land for corn. Ethanol was the next great white hope don't ya know. Enjoy yours for me!

skbs good plan to me! How is Diva doing with her no training wheels adventure?

kelsie that is cool about riding the horses we only see Amish usually around IN with horse and buggies.

Debsi can ya see my hand raising? Hams store very well in the fridge (5-6 days), freezer (6 months) or canning jars (years) since they are fully cooked. Favorite meat to can and have on our shelf ready for other recipes I think.

HG hope your surgery and days off go well praying for ya glad you have your mommy with ya.

rickers when you are bad you are really bad eh? Good thing you have your DW to keep ya in line yes????

Bella what did I miss where? When? What happened? Prayers going up for DH and you.

NMS insurance is one of those things I start hearing the school teacher on Charlie Brown when a salesman starts talking.

elston my oven has been smoking when using it too! We can not see a thing wrong with it but it sure fills up with smoke so guess maybe we need to clean it again too.

MTH thanks for the buckle recipe willl have to give that a try with some wild blackberries when they ripen in a secret location.

We finished off the last of the ham I didn't buy a very big half this time. All the sides except the mac salad are finished we have left some chocolate cake and a very tiny bit of you know what kind of pie.

Well, I'm out of the loop, as usual lately, but now I'm home again. Today, I had whole belly fried clams at Legal Seafood at Logan Airport...Yum. For dinner we had ham, mac n cheese and mixed vegetables. Frozen chocolate cupcakes for dessert.
