boy I'm tired today! Chatterbox had me out and to the museum by 10am and running around that place like mad! Had lunch there and then we zipped over to the mall where I found the most amazing dress for a wedding we have to go to....fits like a glove! Can't wait to wear it- hubby was psyched too (once he got over the price tag).... Filled about 1/4 of the garden today with some hastas, iris, daisies, chives (I use for the bloom mostly)... The girls took over the watering and I was beat by the time hubby came home to grill. Made the salad and baked beans to go with the hots and sausage... but I tossed out some grapes and called it dinner.... I was TIRED! LOL... so that was dinner!!!! Hubby and Diva are out running... training for a 5K they are doing for July 4th. Yup the 6 year old is running a 5K!!!! So, they have to get ready- they dropped Chatterbox off home after mile one and we will see how they do tonight.... Have a great night tonight! I am exhausted- most likely an early night for me!!!!

I followed through with the BLT salad. Added a whole cuke and a big hunk of sweet onion. Only mess up was I forgot the jalapenos and cheese with holes.

Nomad - put the jalapenos and "cheese with holes" on some crackers for later! Microwave a few seconds and voila!

I am picking wife up for a ride tomorrow and do some grocery shopping. Must remember crackers. And a few cans of vienna sausage. And with any luck they will have some white acre peas in the frozen food dept. Rain is out of the forecast so now is the time to Weberize another pig leg...12 hours of slow cooking over hickory charcoal...After marinating in mojo....One another note while looking for something else I came across wife's stash of Sweet Baby Ray's...She had 4 more bottles hid on me. To bad I didn't find them before I restocked.

Boiled shrimp, sinus-clearing horseradishy sauce, and a coupla beers. Probably not a well balanced meal but sure tasted good !

Kats-what are mayonaise rolls?

Supper tonight was cheeseburgers on the grill, corn on the cob and salad.

I'm a mojo convert, thanks to this thread.

Got a little hungry, so I had some leftover barley salad and a slice of cold roast beast. Got my cholesterol results back and there's less beef and ice cream in my future, among other things. Right now, there are 4 dinners' worth of baby back ribs in my freezer along with a bunch of prime ribs and rib eye steaks. Oh, land!

If you need off site storage I can arrange it. Where does coconut cream pie fit into this.....Maybe we can work out a trade...
