Simple supper, but just what the dr. ordered. Hamburgers on the grill w/tomatoes, lettuce, pickles and vidalia onion, Bush's baked beans. I do so love grilled food and, since the weather is promising to stay below 90 for a while now, we will have more of it.
Cooked a whole pound of bacon. I'm not planning to EAT the whole pound today, I just don't like to leave raw bacon in the refrigerator unless it's still sealed. I'll have some of it on a grilled cheese with provolone.
I just made another batch of broccoli slaw. I could live on that stuff. I have some chicken to make but I just had some of the slaw and I feel good for the night, maybe...

Made a big pot of Brunswick stew this morning and just cranked out a huge skillet of chicken fajitas with red onions and the last bell peppers from the garden, since we are due to freeze tonight.
Tonight is Dinner in a Pumpkin. I make it every fall.
Sage sausage, ground beef, water chestnuts, spices, mushrooms, onion, rice, and whatever else you want to throw in. Stuff it all in a pumpkin and bake.
Tonight was simple......some olive oil and balsamic for dipping some kalamata olives, a couple of cheeses (a little brie, some chipotle, and some cheddar), some slices of country ham, and a glass of chardonnay.
