June 23, 2023...

Rain total Past 7 days: 0.26"
Temps: We're having one of the coolest Junes on record

Pics may be nice but progress has definitely been slower vs previous years. Soil temps still in the 60s

Onions

Potatoes

Fava Beans

Cucumbers

Bunching Onions

Dahlias

Peppers

Tomatoes

Same type of Tomato test in ground vs Pot, transplanted same day. Notice a difference?? I'll try to keep track of the yield difference

What the heck happened to these Brussels??? They blew up after the leaves were being all eaten up. All I did was spray aspirin and canola oil mix on them. Was it just bad timing with when I transplanted them? Too early? Wow!

My three tiny tomatoes have grown from pea to small grape size. It's not looking good.

Time to celebrate? First time this year 7am soil temp has hit 70°F.

Typically it's hit in early June. In 2021 it was reached at the end of May.

With all the rain we have coming and the warmer soil we'll finally see some good growth...I hope. Guess we need some sun too. lol

Interesting month for sure. Cool first half, rainy second half. I wonder if the wild fire smoke helped keep temps down by blocking sunlight at high altitudes

Hang in there Cambium. Mother Nature may have a mood swing and cooperate with your plans.
Too much rain for Oklahoma. Everything is shooting especially weeds. SO brought the first tomatoe in yesterday. Has room for improvement.
