Mine in June-July lately. We been having cold snowy springs lately.

I went there today.. this is the Fig tree. We picked another big bowl today.

The one in the front here is whats producing, the one in the back is smaller but had a couple ripe ones.

I'm thinking the white foundation is reflecting the sun and heating up the tree quicker in Spring/Summer

And I cant believe how large they are. Mine aren't like that! lol

This little thing was $20 US. Imported. Hard to find

Nice. I suppose the one advantage of growing them in containers is you can move them inside or in the greenhouse to try to get them to wake up earlier.

Things slowed down after late September with the arrival of cool weather and increasing shade, but slowed doesn't mean stopped.

Winecap mushrooms - unfortunately squirrels and slugs have been cutting my harvest potential down by like 80%...

Tomatoes are ripening fast wrapped up in newspaper inside a great big paper bag. I'll have enough to make another jar of sauce pretty soon. All plants have been pulled up and the garden has been raked over. I got a nice beet out of soil to which I'd added some compost and no beets out of the rest of the soil--going to send off a soil sample to get it tested to see what's missing.

Beets have been a struggle for me too. I think some varieties (ex Chiogga) do better here. But just as I've been starting to have small beetroots form, some voles decided to leave a trail of destruction...

I started my fall gardening this October. Emmmm... I plant some vegetables in the backyard. In fact, I have planted vegetables for five years. I always meet different troubles and questions. I seemed to have problems like yours. Now it's windy in my area. I must move my plants in a backyard greenhouse, I bought a Quictent greenhouse last month.
