We gave a bunch of old tee shirts to the local animal shelter. They love to get soft material to use for the animals there.
Also, we put a lot of furniture on consignment and have netted almost $1,000 from it. This was a dual good thing--we got rid of stuff we didn't want to move and didn't have space for and also made some $$'s.
Thanks, CCc girl. I feel a little weird about selling the snow blower, but we did say we'd be out before the snow flew again this year, so I guess this clinches it!
Well, our shipping container arrives on Thursday. I spent the weekend packing and sorting things out, but still have a bit of packing to do. Hoping to help the kiddo pack up the rest of his room today.
Feeling overwhelmed, with this being Monday, and the anticipation of the week ahead. No matter how organized I think I am, it is still stressful to coordinate a move of this magnitude!
