House being shown today. Fingers crossed. Loading more stuff into camper which we are taking down with us on Monday, and using to transport odds and ends (like my in-progress dollhouse). Need a break from this CT weather, and looking forward to activities with the friends we've made in NC. So today I'm getting the house spiffed up

Good luck, poodle; it is crappy out today, isn't it. At least it's not hot.

One of our dear cats is shutting down after a stroke three weeks ago that left her blind. This will not be pretty, DH falls apart.

Every day is a gift <3

CCc girl: Sorry about your cat. It's so painful to lose a pet.

I'm so sorry CCc girl. I love my pets with all my heart, and when our Blue Cat had what appeared to be a stroke one day at the age of 17, we had to make that terrible choice to let him go. We had him the majority of our married life. He was a wonderful part of our family.

I'm sorry to hear about your cat...I hate that animals can be so fragile and have such short life spans. You are right, every day is a gift.

Decided instead of waiting until our apartment lease is up, we're just going to go for it and break the lease early. I went ahead and scheduled for the ABF relocube to be dropped off in a month. Also listed some furniture on Craigslist that we will not be taking with us cross country.

Now just have to mentally prepare, bring on the madness.

I'm so sorry CCcgirl. Last February we had to make the awful decision to put down, at the same time, our two 18 year old cat siblings, each for their own reason. I knew it was the right thing to do, but it was SO hard. Many hugs.

Haven't been here, have a lot of things going on right now. Yesterday we took another load of stuff to the lake and tomorrow we are going to do it again. So glad it's only 85 miles away so we can move a lot ourselves. We are in the middle of dealing with the addendum from the home inspection report which is stressful. We are dealing with first time home buyers who we feel are wanting the Cadilac version instead of the good, stand Chevy version they are getting in our 30+ year old house. Don't need this on top of every thing else.
