Hmm, can't help but to notice how you 2 are always in agreement, and always posting at the same time, makes me wonder
If you're implying we're the same person, we're not..and that constitutes a violation of City-Data Terms of Service to accuse me of that. However, I'll let it slide.
More importantly, why hasn't the huge number disparity between SF and LA/NYC been adequately addressed? Why do people on here continue to insist that SF has better "Asian food" and continually put down NYC in a category that most people in the Northeast feel that it's strong at?
Lol Boston has some of the worst Chinese in the country, the only place that was decent was kowloon and even then it was overpriced
New Asia is wicked good, as are Buddha's Delight... even out in Bedford, closer to my parents, there's a good spot called Great Wall. Not as great as the stuff out here, but on the whole, pretty damn good.
David Chan, who has eaten at over 6,000 Chinese restaurants in 50 states, rates the top 10 Chinese restaurants in the United States.
All ten are in California (and he provides a pretty good explanation of why):
It's pretty much SF, Los Angeles and NYC as the only real contenders in the world when you're talking about the metro (which should be the main point of contention). If you're talking about the city solely, then probably NYC with SF close behind. LA is great, but most of its great chinese food is outside city limits in San Gabriel Valley and to some degree Orange County.
