These were most of the actual news articles from the first 10 pages of results from a search for "pit bull attacks".
I also did a search for "labrador retriever attacks" (the most popular U.S. breed) - I found THREE articles total from the first 10 pages of results.
I also did a search for "weimaraner attacks" - I found ONE article from the first 10 pages of results.
This is not a problem with the media or sensationalism or a misunderstanding of the breed. It is a problem with pit bulls, and eventually people will grow angry and tired of the bull****...they need to be banned.

Agreed. Pit bulls **** me off in a strange way. Maybe its because of all the attacks? Maybe its because the stupid rap crowd thinks its "cool" to own them and parade them around? Who knows.
It's like if you treat a kid like crap, they're not exactly going to be the best member of society either.
I totally disagree...there are abused and neglected children as well as unwanted/unloved children who turn out just fine. I've met many people who had unhappy or violent childhoods, and often they have been stronger and more consistent than average. They learned to be strong early in life.
On the other end of the spectrum, there are many children who have wonderful, dedicated parents yet end up high school dropouts, addicted to something, or in prison. Environment can only affect a person's success to a degree...
Pit bulls are different from other breeds...every breed is unique in certain ways. Take a look at my previous post and you'll see one way that pit bulls are unique.
A pitbull is like most other breeds. They are human friendly by nature. I don't know how many times I have to stress this. Read up on the breed. You obviously have not with the exception of cherry picking some news stories.
You keep ignoring the fact that a small amount of these dogs are causing the damage. You making blanket statements based on the actions of a few makes you look extremely ignorant.

No it's a problem with Pit Bull owners. No other breed seems to be abused this badly:
I don't think we need to ban any kind of dog breeds, but rather ban bad dog owners.
I know at least 10 people with pit bulls (or cross breed pit/rottweiller) and all these dogs are very nice and socialable. They all get along great with my dog Max (a german shorthair pointer). The problem is when you get some retard who thinks it is cool to train his dog to be mean and fight (think that loser Micheal Vick for instance). These kinds of breeds can be socialized and brought up to be good animals, but you have to keep animals away from the degenerates

Yeah, I guess if you still feel the need to rationalize your opinioons in this thread by comparing human beings to dogs, once again!
