I would have to know where Herschel Walker stands in regards to Kemp, Raffensberger, and Trump.
Does Walker support Trump's attacks upon Kemp and Raffensberger after the 2020 election, or does he support Kemp and Raffensberger actions?
For me, there is no middle ground here.
In other words, does he side with the life-long Georgia conservatives or a yankee from New York City?

Why is this important? If Herschel Walker is elected, he will need staff and advisors.
Will his office be filled with Georgia conservatives or people like Guiliani?
I think this is a major consideration and a deal breaker. If Walker does not make a clear statement regarding supporting Kemp over Trump, then I cannot support him.
Georgia comes first.

Herschel Walker in Georgia transcends demographics, race, and partisanship. He is going to get a lot of votes based on his name and football affiliation alone. I don't expect Walker to win by the large margin Tuberville did but I suspect it will be a very comfortable win over Warnock. This is just the world we live in right now.

Interesting. Well in the case of the AL Senate race I'm not surprised one bit Jones lost. We all remember he had to have a pretty good turnout just to beat a child molester, so the bar for Tuberville was literally just having a pulse. As I previously stated the political winds are at Walker's back, just wondering how much of his personal issues will hamper his campaign and if the GOP brass in DC will dip their tones in our race before the general. I believe this race will go a long way to see if Georgia turning blue was just an aberration. In normal times I would agree that Walker would win, as midterms favor the GOP but these are not normal times. Stacey Abrams and her group registered a record number of people in Georgia and counting so we'll see what effect that will have if any, as the new voting law will see its first major action, on this race. If the race were this November, sure Walker would win, the Dems are bruised nationally and Warnock would be bumped out, but we have 14 months and a lot can change.

One last point I agree Walker is transcendent, but transcendent enough to pull some democratic votes especially from black democrats, not sure about that. Black folks vote Democratic in overwhelming numbers even if it's a Black Republican vs a White Democrat. Let's not forget everyday Warnock gains more experience, he's no slouch, he doesn't have the baggage Walker does and he's a likable guy. But I do concede at the moment he's behind the 8 ball b/c the whole party is being dragged down right now.

All good questions. I'm going to go out on a limb and say he'll parrot Trump. The Fox news interviews I see of Walker all show him saying how the GOP is coming for him and how he wants to restore strength to Ga and America. So if Trump has harsh words for Kemp or Raffensberger I think you'll hear the same, albeit in a softer tone, from Walker shortly after. And if HW makes it to DC I think he'll be staffed with Trump friendlies.

Walker doesn't have to pull that many votes away to win. Warnock barely beat Loeffler who was by every metric an awful candidate. I don't think Vince Dooley himself would be able to beat Herschel. Warnock is a reverend he has no experience and isn't going to gain any meaningful experience in 14 more months. This will be a beauty contest and it is one that Warnock isn't likely to win over a beloved Georgia hero like Herschel Walker. People are way overthinking this like it is a normal partisan race which it isn't. This is a unique scenario.

Trump has expressed public hatred for Kemp and Raffensburger, and encouraged and endorsed HW. Walker is Trump's puppet, he will do and say what he is told.

Does he desire to preserve our Founding and Constitutional representative republic or to fundamentally transform our nation into something else?
Being the pastor of Martin Luther King's Church is all Warnock needs to get re-elected. Hershel is a class act, and cares about Georgia and our country, but that's not enough to win Georgia. Stacy Abrams's undying support will ensure Hershel's defeat. Sad, but true.

Collins' entry caused vote splitting, which ultimately resulted the Democrat win! He did more harm than good. Elder, though, black, doesn't stand a chance in California. Another sad, but true, situation. Newsome ain't going anywhere! It's CALIFORNIA, people!!

Technically Warnock is our sitting Senator so Herschel can't say the guy has no experience. Question, and this isn't just for you Ron (b/c with your Dooley comment I think I know your answer) but is there anything that Herschel could do or say that would stop him from winning, in other words is he like teflon and could shoot someone in the middle of Peachtree (instead of 5th Ave) and still get votes?

I know Thulsa said bashing traditional Republicans is a deal breaker, just wondering if there is a dealbreaker for others or is it just about getting back control of the Senate and thwarting the Biden agenda (although Manchin is doing a pretty good job of that). And I have to add as bad as the press has been for the Dems the last couple of weeks, which affects Warnock, the polls are showing Warnock/Walker in a dead heat for GA.
