I do not smoke also and I also agree with your comment. So much tax money is spent on people that smoke. It is a waste of our tax money.

You have a great day.

Again, statistics can go either way depending how people want to read them and there will be statistics skewed to fit a personal view.

The bottom line is this, personal choice. This thread can go on for ions with stats back and forth. There are stats for both sides, that's for sure.

To try to ban smoking maybe because a loved one died of lung cancer and how much it hurt the family members was a choice of the smoker. Becuase of this it is not right to become a Nanny state on behavior like this on others. It is called infringing on my liberty and freedom on an issue that is a personal choice.

You have a great day.

You mean when you assaulted another craps player because he was smoking?

Actually, I shouldn't have said "another craps player" because you weren't really playing craps, you were just soaking up free drinks as cheaply as possible. BTW, you should check out the Keno lounge if getting sauced for as little money as possible is your goal...
Yes, but it failed to become law. That is what I was referring too. I think your bottom comment was a joke. Keno is the absolute worse game in the house, with the highest house advantage. Craps has the lowest house edge of any game in the casino. Between the little comps, and the free drinks which I greatly take advantage off, it costs me absolutely nothing to play.

You said earlier that you only play the pass line, right? In that case, you're wrong. It's the odds bet that reduces the house edge to something approaching the lowest in the casino. Blackjack, if played properly, has a less than 1% house edge. The pass line bet in craps is 1.41%.

Come to the Mirage tonight and play some poker with me. Bring lots of cash. (No drinking, though - we wouldn't want another innocent victim getting soaked).

I play the pass line with with at least double odds. This brings down the house edge to .60% Craps does have the lowest house edge of any game in the house, including blackjack. To get those really low odds you have to play 10 times odds or greater, which does require a high roller bankroll. As far as going out to play poker with you, forget about it. Since I am honest, I will admit you would absolutely kill me on the poker tables. I still do not understand the game, even know many people have tried to teach me how to play it. However, any time you want to meet me, I am game. I guarantee you that you would have a different opinion of me then. I nearly always make friends when I go out to the strip. I would be totally respectful to you, unlike you think.

edit: here is the chart for the house edge in craps. 1.41% is only for playing the pass line with no odds....

Actually, certain Video Poker machines, when played correctly, give the casino no edge at all. Wizard of Oddz and Bob Dancer's sites can provide you with more info on this.

Yep, you are right on that one. I do not play any poker (including video), so I did not even think about that game.

You mentioned earlier that you only played the pass line - you didn't say anything about betting odds, but you did say you played as cheaply as possible, to get the free drinks...

Anyway, I'll be at Mirage tonight. Not sure what I'll be wearing, though, so just toss your drink on someone and I'll find you by following the hotel security guards.

As for your personality, I don't doubt you're a friendly guy. A lot of drunks are. You've revealed so much about your character and integrity in this thread that I'm pretty sure that I'd retain a strong dislike of you, regardless of how happy a drunk you are, though. You're a stereotypical alcoholic, and I don't care for those types (note that admitted/recovering alcoholics are not part of that group). You're also a coward, as evidenced by your admission that you'd not have thrown your drink on the patron had he been big enough to be a physical threat to you. And finally, you started this thread by saying that you wanted tobacco banned outright, and throughout, you've emphatically maintained that you want to place restrictions on my freedoms and choices due to nothing more than your own personal preferences and junk science.

It doesn't matter how "friendly" you are, LVD. You are not deserving of my respect, and there's little you could ever do to earn it.
