construction site for the future Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts.
downtown banners advertising the National Folk Festival to be held in downtown Greensboro and will have over 300 performers from all over the United States.
Another sizeable and important project is taking shape downtown that will only further enchance the southend area. Kotis properties is progressing on the downtown beer garden, restaurant, and speakeasy venue. This rather large complex is also planned to connect to the railyard area of downtown creating a very interesting entertainment area.
The transformation of the south end of downtown continues with Andy Zimmerman leading the way. Mr. Zimmerman has three additional properties under contract in the West Lewis Street/Railyard area as of today. He has under contract the former Flying Anvil/VYBZ Nation building at 219 West Lewis St., the now closed Lotus Lounge building across from Gibbs Brewery, and the building at the corner of Lewis and Elm. I think the closing and redevelopment of the Lotus Lounge alone will be a huge boost for the area considering the amount of violent incidents that have occurred there over the past couple of years.

I think that's why Allure changed venues and now Lotus is gone.
I'm looking forward to see what develops.
