I say VF Corp should sell it's North Elm headquarters and build a corporate tower next to the Wrangler Building across the street from the sparkling new performing arts center.

Drove pass the Bellemeade Village lot an hour ago, it's teaming with construction vehicles all humming away, and in the back ground charles aris's HQ is nearly complete.

Bellemeade is really taking off though. That entire street adjacent the ball park is unrecognizable as it is.

The union square site also has alot of activity.

Edit: Bellemeade Village site has still not been updated..

That's great news that the fountains are back on. but it's bad news that they have still not updated the Bellemeadevillage website, which still features just college campuses, that's just really confusing and unnecessary and needs to be updated immediately.

He shouldn't have listed the website if it wasn't ready or at the very least he should have had a place holder that has Bellemeade Village with just a little bit of general information.

How hard could it be to find an intern to update the website. Right?

Greensboro in the works for 561 foot mixed used office tower, to be built under roy carrol.

Carroll may build city's tallest office tower (UPDATED) - Greensboro News & Record: Business

This is a good thing, with the Hotel tower being built, this is going to dramatically change Greensboros skyline. Which when complete will be 5th tallest building in the state outside of the office towers in Charlotte.

The tower will be taller than the RBC tower in Raleigh which stands at around 538 feet. and best the Licoln financial that stands at 374 feet.

I have been saying for the longest that Roy was going to build a mixed used office tower downtown, it seems that is coming into fruition and word has already spread. I actually brought that rumor up about 1 year ago after talking to a person working with DGI.

To clarify, it will be the fifth tallest building in the state, period, and the tallest outside of Charlotte.

Roy Carroll is a man on a mission at the present moment in transforming downtown Greensboro. With this new proposed tower downtown, now would be the perfect time for a large corporation like VF, Qorvo, Volvo, etc. to occupy a large portion of this building and get naming rights. It would be neat to see this tower somehow attached to upcoming Tanger Performing Arts Center. I recall seeing a past rendering of a large office tower attached to the performing arts center.
