The fresh market is nearing their completion of officially moving downtown into 300 north green street(Wells Fargo tower) with their 5.6 million Dollar renovation, the move will bring 248 corporate employees from the old Suburban greenvalley HQ location and add 53 new Positions averaging 80.000$ The fresh market(TFM) is the newest addition in a growing list of corporations that have recently moved their HQs into downtown Greensboro’s CBD, TFM joins Kontoor brands(KTB), Orginally NY based Centric brands(CTRCQ) and Arch Capital Mortage insurance(ACGL) as the newest additions to downtowns corporate portfolio.
Good thing that parking deck near the ballpark is nearing completion.
This sounds and looks like a different project than the mixed-use apartments and row-houses that were originally proposed for that area. Anyone have any thoughts?

Yeah, the original plan was from Arden Communities. I guess they dropped out. I'm glad to see someone is still planning residential in that area. I was excited when I saw trucks out there this summer, but they just extended the gravel parking lot. I guess we just gotta wait til October 7th to see their updated plans.

Definitely has changed. The apartments are set at affordable rates. Because of that they won't look as good as what Carroll plans to build on the other side of downtown but its still a great urban project for the south end.

Article says 20% are to be "offered at a reduced rate."
And definitely just 20% are affordable housing, and 80% will be high end?
