Here is a way to make lemonade out of a lemon. Put up an artistic screening system on the deck and maybe include a night time lighting effect. This could have a greater impact than just a better designed deck architecturally.

Maybe it's just me, but I actually prefer the new design over the old one quite a bit more. I've never been a fan of the faux traditional EIFS style that was really popular back in the early-mid 2000s, so I prefer the more functional deck design and I also think the solid glass building looks a lot better from Elm St. than the earlier design.

I saw that. It use to be a grocery store many years ago. That would be a great reuse of the building.
