Took some pics this evening. The new LED lights have been turned on on the Lincoln Financial Building. It has a purple hue and they also have them shining up the tower from the base. I think they can change different colors.

They're getting ready for the skyline makeover.
That's three towers confirmed by the city and developers with no need to speculate.

I hope Greensboro gets on the trend of building restaurants and bars on the top floors of buildings and parking garages. Seems like a easy way to expand without using more downtown land.

This may be over the top but wouldn't it be cool if North Carolina's first revolving restaurant were planned to be at the top of project 561?

Revolving? Lol I wish I just think we need more roof top establishments in Greensboro and parking garages would be perfect set up just rent space from the garage.

A revolving restaurant at the top of Project 561 would probably be the most popular restaurant downtown for those not afraid of heights. It would certainly set Greensboro apart. Heck there are cities around the country smaller than Greensboro that have them. It would certainly be an attraction in and of itself having breath taking views of downtown High Point and Winston-Salem's skyline as well as Pilot Mountain. Just dont make it look like a UFO on top of the building lol. It should be incorporated within the architecture like the Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta.
