Spinx needs a full service store with a kitchen and fresh food items to better compete with QT nearby. But there may be limited space at this location which is mostly gas and go.

At least it isn't one of the old, old stores, like what was at the 3000 block of Augusta Rd 20 years or so ago. One of those where you just had the cashier in a box. I think Washington was one of those as well, perhaps?

I remember those. There was one on Laurens Rd near Haywood and near WYFF too where the new Spinx station currently is.
Spinx has reduced profit margins starting with separate cash/debit/credit pricing at the pump.
Let's be honest.. QT is the exception on that, not the rule. 7-11 as well.
Gas pricing is very, very competitive, so.. I understand why places are doing this. 3.95% is about the entire profit margin on gas sales, which is also the ballpark cost for a CC transaction.
Doesn't mean I like it any more than you.. But I do understand it.
