I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Adam & Eve store going in on Woodruff in the run down strip between the Aldi and the Wendy's.
Yes I noticed that the other day and my mother is very upset about that. But I tried to tell her it is more of an upscale adult novelty store rather than a sleazy adult bookstore. From what I have been told. And I believe there was a big controversial court case in NC when that business was first established years ago. But she is very much opposed.
Dont see the problem with Adam and Eve. Not everybody lives your lifestyle, as long as they dont have anything provactive visible outside the store, then it shouldnt matter. Alot of people are opposed to smoking, yet we have e-cig and hooka places popping up like crazy. Something for everyone.
Two Questions- wondering if anyone knows of whats going on.
1) Next to Bonefish grill and in front of Hobby Lobby on Woodruff. They closed a little by pass road that I use everyday to help with the woodruff traffic. Whatever they are going to build there- I hope its good.
2) Woodruff road down from Fuddruckers after the tracks. They have been working on this new building there for quite some time. Used to be a gas station- Blue Jay (caddy corner from Red Robin Gas) The one side we are getting a Tijuana Flats which is another Burrito joint. Wondering what is going next to it with the orange awning. I have bets with a few of my friends since June on what possibly they can put there.

I read something about this and I was left feeling confused and unsure if any business was going to be built on that land. Hopefully someone will know what it is going on there.

I believe it's rumored to be a new Fresh Market, but I don't know that it's been confirmed.
