Looks like QT took advantage of the traffic from the Chik-fil-A opening in Powdersville and also opened today.
I noticed that QT has the same gas price this morning (1.78) as their nearby store in Easley. I hope it stays like that - most of the gas stations in Powdersville were consistently 10-20 cents higher than in Easley.
I would be curious to know what G, retail/restaraunt 21,000 square feet, can be. It would be the size of a new Fresh Market store. The chain is adding its second Greenville area store on Woodruff Road at Feaster Road ("Fresh Market 2 in Greenville").
Meant to mention this over the past few days.. The Walmart Neighborhood Market in Gray Court has a sign up that it's opening on January 28th.
It has already resulted in the closure of one convenience store in Gray Court.. I fully expect that it will push the convenience store on the corner of 14 and 101 out of business, simply because that store rarely has gas and seems to be in a dire financial situation already. And, I suspect that Gray Court Pharmacy will go away due to it opening as well, since the hours on that place are awful.
Not that I'm saying any of this is bad.. The stores that have closed or I suspect will close, would have closed if ANYTHING mildly more convenient moved into town. Sad, perhaps a little.. But not necessarily bad.

IMO seems like such a waste of that property all of those little strip malls that will probably have rotating tenants over time. That area has enough small strip mall space already. They should have realigned that road over and extended that existing plaza with a big box like Target or Harris Teeter.
They tried Target in that area once. Didn't go well.
That was on the opposite side of 85. They didn't want Walmart either but that didn't work out so well as it could not be stopped. How you can allow one and not the other is beyond me and why Thornbladers wouldn't want Target over Walmart?
