When I bought my house, the garden tub had a toe push popup stopper that didn't pop up. I took it to Lowe's and HD and could not find an exact match. Consulting with the sales guy, I took a different one home and it didn't fit, so I returned it. Put the whole thing on the back burner until I had a plumber at the house working on something else. I mentioned the stopper and he said he was not a fan of the popup stoppers. So, I found this one on Amazon that has a cartridge that will fit 2 sizes of drain threads and is a push down/pull up. It fit my drain, holds the water and is nicer than the one I had. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Careful. In some areas using barrels to catch rainwater is illegal. Hope you checked.

My happy purchase was an Andersen 4000 series full-view glass storm door. I was on the fence about replacing our front door with a door with a glass insert because our entry was is a long wide hall that leads to a greatroom. It is always dark and I wanted a way to brighten up the house with natural lighting without compromising safety. So I waited until I found what I wanted and purchased this. I love it most because it comes with a screen insert for spring and fall when we'd appreciate a fresh breeze or the screen insert can be replaced with the full glass. The best part is that we still have the full security feature of a regular front door but have two more options with the storm door. We live in the desert so storm doors are not usual here. We had to wait over a month for it to be custom made and sent all the way from Florida. haha.

Haha, don’t live in Colorado and if they can find and prosecute me for collecting several hundred of gallons of rain water for my shrubs, I would be able to profit handsomely from the publicly 😎

Interesting. My local county government usually has a sale once a year on rain barrels. They are more concerned with people building on their property (impervious surfaces), dumping more water onto neighbors.

A Sonos Sound System in several rooms controlled verbally by Alexa ( or Sonos app on cell phone or iPad ) that’s built into one of the Sonos speakers.
It’s very cool, listening to music keeps my mind off the stock market❗️

We also have Sonos Playbar and two speakers. Amazing sound. If you have music on a computer there is a way to access it using the Sonos app.
