The post I replied to said that if Harrell is already an offender, why is he getting bail. If he has a juvenile record, it's sealed and can't be used for bail decisions for adult crimes.

The news stories are misleading, and make it sound as if Harrell had already been convicted of a crime as an adult. That's not true, since he hasn't been tried for the UCF or the two aggravated assaults.

I had a former neighbor murdered on the stretch of Westheimer by these ATV thugs. Truly disgusting what is happening to Houston.

Large parts of the city feel like being in a third world country.

Have you ever been to a third world country? I've lived in third world countries, and Houston is nowhere close.

Im surprised nobody is talking about this

HPD chief Troy Finner apologizes for department not investigating 264K cases due to staffing issues

That’s why I’ve never been in favor of the whole “Support the blue” movement
I support police, but not all police are good

HOUSTON (AP) — Houston’s police chief pledged on Thursday to restore public trust in his department following revelations that more than 264,000 cases, including over 4,000 involving sexual assault, were dropped in the past eight years due to a lack of personnel.

Last month Chief Troy Finner announced that hundreds of thousands of incident reports, including for sexual assaults and property crimes, were never submitted for investigation as officers assigned them an internal code that cited a lack of available personnel. The figure represents about 10% of the 2.8 million incident reports filed in the past eight years.

Of course they won’t talk about it. It contradicts their whole “support the Blue” stance.

Crime in Houston being completely out of control is 100% the fault of the Democratic leadership of the CoH and Harris County over the past several years. The irony is, the most affected by this rampant crime are the same idiots who vote for Democrats.
Reap what you sow, you deserve it.
