Republicans love to talk about election fraud
but the moment you tell them that there should be one set of rules for all elections in this country, they go crazy.

You can't complain about election fraud when we have 50 set of rules on how elections should be done.

US election: 10 US election oddities - Nov. 2016

'Idiots' banned from casting a ballot
Kentucky's constitution prohibits "idiots and insane persons" from casting a ballot, but a person must be ruled incompetent and unable to vote by a judge.
In fact, the term "idiots" and "insane persons" were common phrases used in state constitutions in Ohio, New Mexico and Mississippi, but were meant to refer to people with mental disabilities.
Ohio's constitution states under Article V: "No idiot, or insane persons, shall be entitled to the privileges of an elector".
However, a probate court must declare a person incompetent for voting purposes in Ohio.
Similar language bars "idiots" from voting in Mississippi, but individuals are purged from voter rolls if they are adjudicated by a court of law as incompetent, according to Leah Rupp Smith, assistant secretary of state of communications for Mississippi.
But according to federal law, a person cannot be barred from voting due to "incompetence" except in very limited circumstances. Individuals with mental disabilities are entitled to vote even if under guardianship or receiving assisted care, according to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
People with disabilities also have the right to receive help with voting from friends, family members or care givers.

Only 45% of the Texas registered voters bothered to vote.

Well, it's not arbitrary though. The link you posted confirmed that the Mueller report found a lot of evidence of Russian interference. Just not a smoking gun that said "Trump won because of this." There is evidence. The Mueller report was ignored, but that's not because there was nothing there. It was political.

Whether Russia interfered or not is not the point. The relevant charge that Hillary and the Democratic leaders made was that Trump COLLUDED with a foreign country to interfere on his behalf (basically treason). It was investigated for over 3 years at a cost of tens of millions of dollars. Robert Mueller delivered a steaming pile of horse manure to the Congress which resulted in the investigation getting axed and the Democratic leadership left with egg on their face. Pelosi impeached Trump twice for other charges but never for collusion with Russia.

The entire Russian collusion hoax is election denial at its absolute finest.

Well, no. But I think we've gotten off topic so we're going to have to agree to disagree, and leave this here.

In the meantime I read in the Dallas Morning News that Abbott has launched an investigation into Harris County due to all the voting irregularities.

I'm sure nothing will come of it...just Abbott reminding Lina and Turner he's still in charge.

This make 3 elections in a row that Abbott says Harris County has problems. The previous two investigations found no problems whatsoever. I'm sure this third investigation will be no different. Almost looks like the governor is harassing an entire county.

Not exactly. There were definitely issues in the primaries. So bad that the election official was fired.

The issues with running out of paper ballots in Harris County should be investigated. I suspect it was purely incompetence but it should be looked at to make sure it does not happen again.

Harris county election administrator is also running an investigation
but there's almost no mention of that on the main stream media

https://abc13.com/harris-county-texa...ting/12453356/

The Harris County's elections administrator, Clifford Tatum, said his office will participate in a Texas Secretary of State Audit and has already been in contact with the auditing team regarding the election. Tatum also said his office is "currently reviewing issues and claims made about Election Day and will include these findings in a post-elections report to be shared promptly with the Harris County Elections Commission and the County Commissioner Court."
