Ross Bridge is ~1700 acres. They'll have to leave out some of the homes to do that.

They are planning a "ross bridge II" of sorts out in Leeds near the Shoppes of Grand River, even bigger then the first. And they are handling the new Grandview Medical Center and surrounding office/retail complex in Birmingham on 280. They do great things, so I'm sure whatever they have planned for up there will be top notch.

Golden Corral will soon take care of that for all of us. I am currently working on a new wardrobe that is two sizes bigger than current.

Default More info on the Shoppes at Town Madison

MADISON, AL (WAFF) - A brand-new, 625,000 square foot shopping center is coming to Madison.

625,000 sq. ft. shopping center planned for Madison - WAFF-TV: News, Weather and Sports for Huntsville, AL

Two Florida-based companies are partnering to bring the project to the Tennessee Valley - The Sembler Company and Lennar Commercial.

Lennar Commercial has the Shoppes at Town Madison site plan up on their website.

It shows the development sitting on the southwest corner of the intersection of Zierdt Road and 565.
A proposed road and 16 retail and mixed use spaces are in the rendering along with more than a dozen tracts of land for future development.

No tenants are listed on the website.

However, Lennar's other similar-sized developments include stores like Macy's, World Market, and Nordstrom Rack.

A representative from Sembler attended the Madison City Council meeting Monday night about a different development The Sembler Company would like to put in on Wall Triana and Browns Ferry Road.

This looks pretty impressive. The plan also shows the Kelner rd expansion and the 565 exit, which is going to dump to Kelner, not directly to Zierdt rd as I thought they were going for. All in all, if this goes through, this area is going to look extremely different. Let's all hope for the mothe of all mattress stores to go in that biggest building!

Definitely. I want a Vegas style place with crab legs sawed in half so you don't waste time opening them.

Oh, how I would love a Macy's here....and a Nordstrom Rack, and World Market. Can't believe there isn't a World Market here....even Murfreesboro, TN has one.
