Your area, how often do you see them? (illegal, San Francisco, fast food)

A lot of that where I live. I recently saw that same thing at 8 am near a busy intersection outside a convenience store - not behind the store, but right in front.
There are other bathroom clues that you're in an area with very high illegal immigration (but unfortunately legal immigration also) and that's the used toilet paper on the floor. They say it's got to do with septic systems back home and they haven't assimilated enough yet to understand it's not like that here. Or you even see signs in Spanish asking that they put the used paper in the commode.
It's common to see baskets of waste toilet paper in toilets in Asia, especially the Phillipines, but there it's CLEAN paper if at all. They use a tabo to wash themselves and them pat dry with the paper, and it goes in the bin as the pipes are too small to accomodate it.
A little different sanitation wise to what you mean though. Luckily we don't see that a lot here yet.
We're the same! I speak Spanish too and grew up during high school working in places like McDonalds with illegal immigrants, so I feel like we got the inside-scoop on this stuff. People will be like, "How do you know they are illegal immigrants," and I'm like, "Yo, they will tell you!" LOL
True, the illegals I talk to in my subdivision admit openly where they are from, how they got here, how long they have been here, where their family is and on and on and on.......
Hell Admit??? In Southern California they have held signs in protests advertising their Illegal status.
BTW how hard is it to tell when you can find 3 generations of people living in the same unit and no one there speaks English except a few grade school age children?

To immigrate legally *should* mean the immigrant has made some effort to learn English but sadly that isn't even the case. Still - when you see people here unable to speak any English at all, it's a good sign they're not here legally.
But you're right - the standards for legal immigrants, particularly those brought in by family chain migration are extremely lax, the immigrant does not have to make the slightest effort to assimilate, learn the language of this country, taking food stamps, Medicaid, government housing, and can boast of their great pride in their own country - and still be legally immigrated.
I have a feeling that all of this is going to change starting 2011.
It may be a slow change, like state by state, but it will change.

Not all immigrants stay here all year either. They're migrant workers only here for the agriculture (picking) and go home after the season is over.

I was at the Maywood Demonstration and they all wanted to make it known, without hesitation, that they were "anti-American illegals aliens"
They aren't scared of admitting it one bit. They hate Americans and pledge allegiance to Mexico. For all those people that haven't been hit hard by illegals and really understand just how bad it is I think these couple videos really sum up our illegal alien problem...
Lady admits to being here illegally and says what are you going to do about it?
These last two videos show just how much these illegals hate America and have no respect. They're just nice people looking for work, right? (Even though it may look like Mexico, these two videos are in fact filmed in Los Angeles, CA)
-If your one of those people who say well I live in KY they'll never come then watch these videos. Note that these videos are a few years old and the problem has gotten WAY worse since then.

Easy now marleymaple, Ky does have an illegal immigration problem and they're in the process of doing something about it.
I know how these videos make you feel, I've been there, I was with the Minutemen, Cht #11, out of San Bernardino,Ca. and that's how I ended up at the Maywood Riots. I've also worked at the Border with the MinuteMen.
