I totally agree. And, if he truly loves his children, he will never stop fighting to have them reunited with him in Mexico. This is something La Raza, et al. should champion, since they claim to be advocates for Hispanic "immigrants." Rather than trying to guilt this country into allowing illegals to remain here with their children, they should be working on strategies for family reunification in their homelands. If family reunification is actually their goal, it shouldn't matter where they live, as long as they're together. But, they seem to believe families should only remain intact within the borders of the USA. I wonder why.

You miss the fact that many come here of their own free will, as a "rite of passage" for most, for their own economical/status gain. They left their own families in their nations, come here and make new families only to get deported back to their old families (so who is really destroying families?) Free Market? you fail to understand exactly what the free market is, you are proposing Market Socialism. Open borders does nothing but rob economically from one country and give to another.

What good is cheap, foreign labor labor when they are taking American jobs and those Americans don't have money to purchase anything but their taxes keep going through the roof paying for their social costs? Where is an American supposed to find work in their own country with your idea of open borders? Jobs will go to the lowest bidder and America will become a third world nation with a lower standard of living for Americans.

Not if they come in legally (Visa) registered and pay taxes.

We don't need these people though. At least regular Americans don't. What benefit are they to them? The only ones benefiting are the greedy employers for more profit. We have millions of Americans out of work why should we import more workers legally or illegally? If an Americans hadn't lost their jobs to this cheap foreign labor they in turn would be paying those same taxes. Between illegal immigration and outsourcing job opportunities are disappearing for Americans. Whose country is this anyhow?
We don't need this added population growth draining our resources either. We already have over 310 million people in this country that we can't meet the demands for those things. Why aren't you suggesting that the sending countries which is mostly Mexico create jobs for their own citzens instead? There is 2 billion impoverished in this world that need jobs. Should we let them all in? There has to be a cutoff somewhere and with so many Americans out of work we sure don't need to import more foreign workers right now.
