If that is truly how you believe then the solution is simple. Increase funding to USCIS to accelerate processing times (and streamline processes while you're at it) and offer a visa for your Manuel the dishwashers of the world as they currently have no possible way of working here legally, outside of marrying a gringa.
There is no problem that requires your solution. It's that simple. We don't need the illegals here. Why are you so concerned with having low wage unskilled labor here? Are you the master or the slave in this scenario?

Why are you so concerned about this issue. Did you lose your high-paying dishwasher job to an illegal immigrant who was willing to do the same job for $1 less per hour?

I'm an engineer working in oil and gas, I'm doing just fine. But I could do better if illegals were not sapping resources paid by tax payer money and provided to them by crooked politicians. I rather keep the money I worked for, I already mentioned this. I told you my story, what'd yours? I can surmise that you're Mexican because you're a Cruz Azul fan. Occams razor says you're worried about losing your job and being deported.

Nice deflection.
You seem to make light of the fact that many Americans have lost their livelihood to illegals. So many honest contractors in the construction industries lost their businesses because they couldn't compete with sleazy contractors who hired illegals and paid them under the table.
Your example of losing a dish washing job is a poor one. After all, you were the one that said restaurants in the Twin Cities are begging for BOH help in their restaurants. So, anyone who wants a dish washing job can easily find one and even be picky when it comes to wages. After all, when there is such desperation for help, decent restaurants will raise their hourly rates to attract people. If they refuse to raise the pay, then they deserve to languish and perhaps, go out of business. As I said before if a business hires illegals or caters to them, they are a diseased business that needs to die. Period.
Per the bolded --- You are very very wrong. When I was a kid, I knew kids who had parents who worked those jobs that you look down upon. And guess what? They made enough money to own modest homes. For example, one of the kids in my class had a father who was a custodian and his family owned a small, modest home---and this was in a state that had a high COLA. I knew other kids whose fathers worked as restaurant cooks and the family owned their own home.
What you're advocating is that we bring in more unskilled immigrants to take these jobs at the current low pay. And what happens when they age out of those jobs? Do we bring in even more unskilled workers? What your pushing is nothing more than a Ponzi scheme----and all Ponzi schemes come crashing down at some point. You bring up "below replacement birthrate" and talk about it if it is a bad thing. How many people will be too many for you? Do you want to see a population like India which is 1 billion plus? In Bangalore, they don't have enough potable water.
Not everybody can or will be "high skilled". What are those people supposed to do to make a living wage? And, yes, if illegals are sent packing, those unskilled jobs will once again raise their wages and improve their working conditions to attract people. High school and college kids will do those jobs---and if you look around, you will see them doing this work. Seniors will work in fast food place to supplement their retirement income. Someone who has hit on hard times and needs a job will do those jobs, also.
There is no problem that requires your solution. It's that simple. We don't need the illegals here. Why are you so concerned with having low wage unskilled labor here? Are you the master or the slave in this scenario?

It's cause I care about Americans and LEGAL aliens. I don't care about ILLEGAL aliens once their despicable kind are thrown out of the US.
Kinder? I guess that would depend on who you were talking to. Now, if you were talking to an immigrant who spent years working on their legal status then I doubt you'd be kinder to them.
The last time we offered amnesty only a third of those here illegally took advantage of getting citizenship. They don't want it, they just need money.
I don't know why we treat illegals like big abused babies. They'd rather be guest workers, and then go home to their family. They just need money because NAFTA drained their ability to make money.
Soon, these detractors will accept that MOST illegal immigrants strengthen the very fabric of our society and deserve a chance to make things right. Legalization is a MUST and I know that it's not far off in the future. I know that President Trump will radically alter his immigration policies because America's conscience is overwhelmingly in favor of granting relief to these people.
