Uh; IF illegal aliens are so "good", then Hillary should've won the election. She lost. To Trump who's already HATED by many illegals.

No, illegals destroy the very fabric of our society. I've seen them destroy it in my town. Everywhere illegals go, they destroy the very fabric of our society.

We don't need any illegals as the are parasites who take far, far more than they give. The vast majority of Americans are not in favor of amnesty. Illegals deserve a one way ticket back to where they belong---that is their own countries.

Ask those honest contractors in the construction fields who lost their livelihoods because they couldn't compete with sleazy contractors who hire illegals and pay them under the table. Ask them if they are "overwhelmingly in favor of granting relief to these [illegal aliens]".

Or what about Americans who have had their IDs stolen by illegals? The Puerto Rican government had to declare all PR-issued birth certificates null and void because so many native-born Puerto Ricans have been victims of ID theft. Now if they need a copy of their birth certificate, they have to jump through many hoops to get a secured, certified copy. Ask them if they are "overwhelmingly in favor of granting relief to these [illegal aliens]".

Ask those who have lost loved ones at the hands of an illegal alien---especially an illegal who has been deported several times only to once again illegally return here. Ask the victims if they are "overwhelmingly in favor of granting relief to these [illegal aliens]".

There are more examples but I'm sure you get the picture. One reason Trump got elected is that he vowed to get rid of illegals. So far, he's doing an excellent job! If Americans were "overwhelmingly in favor of granting relief to these [illegal aliens]", Trump would have lost in a landslide. Ponder that for a while.

Our country will do very well without illegals. They cost us billions per year---that's money that should be going to our own poor people as well as disabled people. If any business that either hires illegals or caters to them goes under when illegals leave, then it is a diseased business that needs to die.

I'm for hard working, law abiding illegals getting citizenship. But they have to sign up or get out.

I'm for them applying and getting if there is a need for their particular skill set. They need to get out first and wait in line like everyone else.

No, the law says that they HAVE to leave for a number of years first since they broke immigration law. They shouldn't just be allowed to get back in line.

Anyone illegal, anyone, needs to be gone from within our Borders.

Borders, what a concept.

I knew other kids whose fathers worked as restaurant cooks and the family owned their own home.

What you're advocating is that we bring in more unskilled immigrants to take these jobs at the current low pay. And what happens when they age out of those jobs? Do we bring in even more unskilled workers? What your pushing is nothing more than a Ponzi scheme----and all Ponzi schemes come crashing down at some point. You bring up "below replacement birthrate" and talk about it if it is a bad thing. How many people will be too many for you? Do you want to see a population like India which is 1 billion plus? In Bangalore, they don't have enough potable water.

Not everybody can or will be "high skilled". What are those people supposed to do to make a living wage? And, yes, if illegals are sent packing, those unskilled jobs will once again raise their wages and improve their working conditions to attract people. High school and college kids will do those jobs---and if you look around, you will see them doing this work. Seniors will work in fast food place to supplement their retirement income. Someone who has hit on hard times and needs a job will do those jobs, also.
Furthermore, the H1B scam is destroying high wage jobs! I say we have a moratorium on ALL immigration! If the politicians won't represent us who elected them but would rather support foreigners, they should be deported to the countries that they love so much!

I agree about the H1-B visa. It's riddled with fraud and corruption. That visa program needs to be abolished. My husband worked in IT and was out of work for 10 months. It was really galling for him to see H1-Bs holding jobs while he went without.

The term "law abiding illegal alien' is an oxymoron.
