Yep, best thrift Store in town, IMHO.

I was there several years ago, and some guy donated hand-made wooden furniture (no pasteboard). It was his hobby, and that was his way of giving back. It was very pretty. I didn't buy it, because I didn't need any furniture, but it was definitely going to delight someone.

I've donated several brand-new items of clothing or housewares over the years. Usually unwanted gifts, some of them expensive, but I take a minimalist view these days. If it makes someone else happy, I'm glad.

I was running out of time. These will do for now.
If I could get an up with credit above 450 I might could afford to buy some clothes soon. Lol.
I haven't sold anything since the 3rd.

Down here, several of the dry cleaners offer inexpensive alterations like that. If it's like that in Vegas, that's one option.

Most are $5-$10 for a basic hem, usually $2 more for a cuff. Google $5 hem Las Vegas and you'll get your answer.

Today is the reason I moved here. It is unbelievably nice out. Headed to the valley of fire. Windows down camera out.

According to my weather app, we're at 83 right now in Henderson. February 16th. 83. Yep, I'm in the right place

Being a weather map watcher for years, anyone else noticed, when it gets super-cold in the Midwest, we benefit from warmer winters?

I recall those extra-warm winters, over the past 10 years in Minnesota, my brother loved to rub it in with a phone call: We're warmer here today than Las Vegas! And, embarrassingly so, it was true!

I was visiting here a year ago this past January and we were having highs in the mid-30s. When I got back to Rhode Island, we were in the 60s. Odd juxtaposition. But I am definitely loving this winter here
