Is there an emergency shelter in LV? Not one for emergencies from nature but a Salvation Army place or something that would take him and 3 dogs in temporarily, I wonder.

There is a huge Salvation Army complex on Main and Owens. Pretty bad area but I think they have emergency help.

Im sorry LVD I didnt mean to say your car reflects who you are as a person

What I meant to say is your car can be considered a symbol of where you were before, what you could have been, or where you are in life now. It is a symbol of what you have become because of choices you made in life

And it doesnt have to be the car that is the symbol. It could be a coat, or something really special close to you

I could have gone out and bought a $500 car like yours last year. And it probably would have broken down by the time I reached the Orlando city limits. If I REALLY truly wanted to impress I could have bought a Jaguar, or something really fancy. But Im keeping my car because I know it so well inside and out, and its just as reliable car as yours LVD.

What do you think, LVD, of the Salvation Army complex on Main and Owens, taking them in for a short period of time? Could that work?

I would call the Animal Foundation to see if they can provide a resource for his animals just in case they can't follow with the family. Man, that's heartbreaking news. Hope it all works out okay.

Here is a link with a phone number for an organization called Foreclosed Upon Pets. http://www.yelp.com/biz/foreclosed-u...-inc-las-vegas

Maybe they can provide some resources. I hope Aqualung has friends with whom he can stay with. I think a shelter is a rough call.

Yep, friends would be the betta call but having the three pups complicates this a tad, though, huh?

The best status symbol is a paid off car, followed by a paid off house, IMO.

Hey LVD...just wanted to commend you for your good (great) heart...for all the crap some people give you, you're always the first guy to step up and help others on this forum.
Actions speak louder than words, and I've got much respect for your actions (well some of them anyway)
You are the man! Peace
