Good luck aqualung, hope you can get things worked out. Did you manage to get a place to stay? You weren't by any chance hanging out at a shopping center off Bermuda today were you?

But his neighbors in his complex are very nice. I had the pleasure of meeting some of them when I was walking Jackie last night.

No, that wasn't me. Other than meeting with a couple of my benefactors, I only took Ace for a walk today, so that he could do his business.

Yes, thank you very much to both of you. You know who you are, so I won't bring up your names, unless you want me to.

I parted company temporarily with my girl Queen. I'd admit it, I did cry when I was parting company with her, and cried for at least fifteen minutes afterwards. There might be a chance that I have to find a temporary home for Ace and Jackie. They miss her very much.

That is sad. I could never part with my furkids for any reason, ever. I have lived in some really crummy places in my life just to keep my cats and would do so again if i had to.

It was one of the hardest decisions that I've ever had to make, Pink. I'll get her back eventually, but I'll still need to find temporary homes for Ace and Jackie. I hate having to move in with my sister possibly, but better than living at Catholic Charities. She just got a new kitten named Simba, which brings her total of cats to four. I like cats, but I'm a dog person.

Im glad to see you're doing well at LVD's aqua. I'm also glad LVD has nice neighbors as well. I spoke with one of them when I arrived in town in May, seemed like a really nice guy.

I have gotten dirty looks however from others just because I was unfamiliar and have out of state plates. Oh well

I remember my family had to give up our Husky-German Shepherd mix back in 2001 when we were living in Connecticut. We could not find an apartment anywhere where pets were allowed. My family now has a 10 pound chihuahua and we had lived in some rather crummy places just so we could keep him

I would love to own a pure bred husky one day, but Las Vegas is not the right climate for those dogs

I hope you can find some place where you can have all your furkids aqua. Those of us who have animals know they are family to us. I know it must be so hard for you.

Davie.....actually youre kinda wrong. The Siberian fur also acts as an insullator agains the heat.

I had my Siberian for 18 yrs and he LOVED Las Vegas. They do need running space tho.

Mine was nearly 18 he was 80% blind, totally deaf and had had a stroke that left him walking in left hand circles.

I came home and was slow getting the door closed...he bolted and ran....in left had circles for 15 minutes....he was happy cause he was running....iwas happy cause I didnt have to chase him....

4 days later we had to put him to sleep.

Thats sad Dyni that your husky had to end that way

Still I cant see myself owning a husky unless I were to take him to Mt Charleston on a regular basis
