We just had some rain. The drops were pretty big and the streets are wet. It did not last too long though.

Aqua, You should try contacting Best Friends animal sanctuary, the Las Vegas part. See if they can help foster your furkid until you can get out on your own hopefully soon to get them back. You will need to volunteer with them in some sort in exchange for the fostering. IF they will do it that is.

We had some thunder earlier, a ton of wind, and the rain came down in giant drops. But it lasted 5 mins and went on it's merry way someplace else. Hopefully more will come. There is still the flash flood warning in effect until around 8pm. I want to see more rain before it moves on to other states.

Thanks, Pink. I'll give them a call tomorrow. I had an interview with MGM last week, and hopefully I'll hear from them soon. I have a month to find Jackie a new foster home, but I want to make arrangements sooner. I hope that they're able to help me, and I can get Jackie back.

Yup - raining hard along Alexander west of Rancho...and looks like more coming . The gutters are running full...

The rain dance must have finally worked.

Hear some pretty good thunder in the distance.

Ugly grey to the north...

It stopped raining here, and the wind is just blowing fiercely. The radar showed orange and red heading up to the far northwest side. So have fun with that.
Best part about rain up here, it all runs to the east side and lower end of the Strip and floods them out down there. Better that way.

I'm definitely having fun. I've been craving rain for months! Am I asking too much to have this tomorrow too?
